How Will Portable Video Technology Impact Marketing To Young Adults?
On Wednesday, Apple and NBC announced a partnership. The media giants inked a deal allowing NBC programming to be sold on iTunes. The shows can play on home computers or on Appleās new video iPod.
This technology is mind blowing. Not only do I for see more stations making deals with Apple, as NBC and ABC have; but I also see this technology as the next way to reach college students.
iPods are very prevalent on college campuses. Companies,, including BrainReactions have already started using podcasts, audio clips and reports available for downloading.
With video capability, companies can now craft video announcements and updates. Imagine how fast viral media can spread if it is taken on the go from person to person? The possibilities are endless for how business and individuals can use this video technology.
What other technologies do you think will have an impact on marketing to college students and Generation-Y?
